CPC 23.191 Restoration of the Ryan Building Grand Hall Ceiling & Laylight

This project involves the following but not limited to: Cleaning and complete restoration of all Grand Hall leaded glass laylight panels. Cleaning of all attic level laylight enclosure and walkway areas and surfaces. Examination and production a historic finish analysis (HFA) and report for the Grand Hall second floor level entablature, coved ceiling, coffers and laylight beam drop enclosures and frames. Repair and refinishing of the coved ceiling, coffers and beam drop enclosures in accordance with the HFA. Provision and erection of full Grand Hall ceiling access scaffolding. Temporary removal and transport to offsite storage of all movable site accessories. Construction of new laylight access walkway. Miscellaneous metal work, Laylight lighting modification. Modification of the laylight sprinkler system. Final cleaning of entire project areas and transport/reinstallation of stored site accessories. Complete documentation of all work by means of a Final Report in both text, drawings and photographs.

A mandatory pre-proposal conference and walk through will be held on September 18, 2025, at 1:00PM in Room 630 of the Main Capitol.
Proposals are due on October 15, 2025, by 2 pm, prevailing time.

CPC 25.197 RYAN BUILDING MAINTENANCE OF FINISHES & FIXTURES

This project involves the following: Dusting and general cleaning of walls, beam drops, soffits, moldings, metal and stone railings, bronze and stone sculpture, guilded surfaces, finished woodwork, painted artwork, and miscellaneous architectural materials and finishes. The work also includes repair, preparation and refinishing of historic plaster, scagliola, marble, wood, and touch in of guilded surfaces by qualified artisans.

A mandatory pre-proposal conference and walk through will be held on September 11, 2025, at 9:30AM in Room 630 of the Main Capitol.
Proposals are due on October 15, 2025, by 2 pm, prevailing time.

CPC 25.198 MERCER TILE PRESERVATION MAINTENANCE

This project involves the following: Cyclical cleaning and routine maintenance of the First Floor Mercer Tile areas, marble floor areas, elevator floors and thresholds and miscellaneous bronze items at the Main Capitol Building. Specific task sets will be scheduled on a bi-weekly (each two-week period) and special tasks on a yearly basis. Work includes general cleaning of the tile and marble floors, perimeter marble base assemblies and routine maintenance cleaning of selected bronze work and miscellaneous finished surfaces.

CPC 25.202 TREASURY HISTORIC ROOM 150

This project involves the following but not limited to: Cleaning, stripping, repair and refinishing of full height wood panel walls, doors and trim. Cleaning and polishing of marble base and thresholds. Stripping and refinishing of miscellaneous bronze and metal items. Miscellaneous millwork and carpentry. Refinishing of Marble floor areas. Cleaning and spot pointing of glass block. Cleaning, spot repair and touch-in refinishing flat, profiled and coved ceiling surfaces. General preparation, repair, painting, of miscellaneous walls, ceilings and surfaces. Issue date of proposal will be on the 2nd of September 2025.

CPC 25.199 BRONZE CONSERVATION MAINTENANCE: EXTERIOR FIXTURES AND DOORS

Inspection, cleaning and conservation maintenance of bronze architectural exterior light fixtures located at the center main entry to the Capitol Building. Removal, off site refinishing and reinstallation of existing bronze rail caps. Cleaning of miscellaneous building accessories. Rinsing of selected masonry wall, ceiling and façade areas. Inspection, cleaning and conservation maintenance of West Main Entry Doors — North wing, Center wing and South wing, including north and south wing aluminum and glass interior vestibule enclosures of the Main Capitol Building. Repair, preparation, refinishing and reinstallation.


CPC 25.200 BRONZE CONSERVATION MAINTENANCE: STATUARY

Inspection, cleaning and conservation maintenance of exterior bronze sculptures located at the South Capitol Plaza (Hartranft Memorial) and South Capitol Park (Boise Penrose Monument).
